Premier Steel Services was originally formed in October of 2003 as a Sales and Project Management based service organization for Structural Steel. Premier's primary focus is to point the organization to market our services to customers in providing structural steel packages for their various projects. The primary focus was move towards “Design Build” in becoming a partner with our customers to provide the structural steel within the customer's schedule and within their budgets.

In April of 2004, Premier had the opportunity presented by a financial institution to take assignments of the assets of a failed fabricator. This decision added fabrication operations to a growing repertoire.

The experience of the Premier Steel Team has contributed to the development and implementation of a growth plan based on building long-term relationships with customers and vendors alike, while performing at levels higher than our customer's expectations.

In December of 2004, Jim Clark and Merle Martindale joined the Premier Steel Board of Directors. Both these individuals come with years of experience both in fabrication and erection. Both of these gentlemen and their combined added strengths coupled with the strengths and skill sets of Premier employees have only started to elevate Premier to not realize any limitation but only the potential.

Premier is now and has continued to develop and provide widening markets domestically and has continued upgrading equipment and facilities to add steel processing as an added service to the management, and fabrication of structural steel.

Our mission statement is simple: “We will become the “Premier” structural steel service provider and fabricator of our size in our niche market. Premier will continue to constantly develop and strive to meet our customers and vendors expectations.
